Shocking Statistics on the Lack of Planning for Retirement

About 78 million baby boomers in this country are approaching retirement, and most of them are not ready. A recent study conducted by Gene Cohen, Ph.D has found that the vast majority of prospective retirees haven’t done any planning for their golden years. They were not just talking about financial planning.

Although figuring out what the sources of income will be when you retire is certainly important. Dr. Cohen’s landmark study asserts it is equally important to figure out how you’re going to spend your time, and with whom, and to what purpose.

A study by Cornell University also found that over half (57%) of retirees wished they had planned more for the non-financial aspects of their retirement.
